Invited to receive an honorary  doctorate from KU Leuven (Leuven), former European Central Bank president (2011-2019) Mario Draghi took the opportunity to deliver a powerful speech on the future of Europe. The Italian politician called for  “pragmatic federalism ,” a united Europe in matters of defense, foreign policy, and taxation.
