At the Tavini Congress, the Tahitian independence party unveiled the broad outlines of its draft constitution for the Federal Republic of Ma’ohi Nui (present-day French Polynesia), once independence from France has been achieved, which, according to the country’s president, it hopes will be achieved within 3 to 15 years.
