Federalism: a solution advocated in Caledonia since 1977

Hello everyone,

The APROFED association is back with you this week to share one of its articles on the only political solution to the current conflict in New Caledonia: federalism.

It should be remembered that, during the events of 1984, this solution had already been studied, both by the loyalists and by the independentists, to be partly applied through the Noumea Accords of 1998, with the establishment of provinces, a congress, etc.

All that remains today is to finalize this process, particularly within the framework of a new relationship with the French State.

Wishing you a good read and reminding you that only federalism would allow us to solve the current Caledonian problem.
