Revolutionary ideology introduced centralization, which, since 1789, has only grown… relentlessly. The State controls every French citizen from cradle to grave, period. But every French citizen, increasingly stifled, increasingly isolated, increasingly deprived, is asking themselves: What if decentralization—real decentralization, of course!—were beneficial? What if federalism—which makes France diverse—were to satisfy the population?
