In an interview with Le  Figaro , Bruno Le Maire, former Minister of the Economy under Emmanuel Macron, definitively unveiled his vision of the world. His flagship proposal? To create a federation of six nation-states  (France, Germany, Spain, Italy, Poland, and the Netherlands) within the European Union, endowed with its own constitution, a new capital chosen by “the people,” and the capacity to act “as a single state.”
